The Itinerary
Your chauffeur-guide meets you at the airport and transfers you to Negombo or Colombo. The first day is shaped around your arrival time, with a relaxed evening to settle in before this longer island journey begins.
A gentle first full day to recover from travel — a relaxed Colombo orientation, taking in temples, markets, and the colonial Fort quarter, or a calm morning by the sea at Negombo.
You travel into the Cultural Triangle, basing near Sigiriya or Dambulla, with comfortable stops, arriving with time to settle in and relax.
An early climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the Dambulla Cave Temple, and a relaxed village experience with a home-cooked lunch — a varied taste of heritage and rural life.

The Sigiriya climb is optional; quieter Pidurangala or a viewpoint suits families and those who prefer less climbing.
A day at one of the great ancient capitals — the well-preserved Polonnaruwa or the older sacred city of Anuradhapura — both easily explored by vehicle with short walks, with a guide to bring the history to life.
