The Itinerary
Your chauffeur-guide meets you at the airport and transfers you to Colombo or Negombo. The first day is kept light so you can rest before the active days begin.
You travel into the Cultural Triangle to the Dambulla or Sigiriya area, settling into your hotel with time to relax before the next day’s active start.
An early climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress or quieter Pidurangala, followed by a relaxed village experience with a canoe or bullock-cart ride and a home-cooked lunch.
In the late afternoon, an optional jeep safari in Minneriya or Kaudulla can be added to look for wild elephants, depending on the season.

A morning at the Dambulla Cave Temple, then a scenic drive to Kandy with a Matale spice-garden stop, arriving in the lakeside hill capital.
You travel to Kitulgala, Sri Lanka’s main white-water rafting base on the Kelani River. After a safety briefing and equipment fitting, you raft a series of grade two and three rapids with trained guides through rainforest scenery.
